This knowledge will enable you to specify and order compliant products/materials and also enable you to prepare Risk Assessments and detailed Method Statements for use by the installers to ensure that everyone on site including the customer remains safe. In this course, we will look at some of the key areas which will start to build your knowledge and therefore set you on the journey to becoming a very capable surveyor.

In this course we will focus on the following areas;

- Building Regulations Relevant to Windows and Doors

- How to carry out Risk Assessments and compile Method Statements (RAMS)

- Being aware of the possible  presence of Asbestos and how to deal with it

- Your responsibilities with regards to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

- How to move materials and equipment safely (Manual Handling)

- How to work at height safely
